ABOUT MILLSY'S POP UP RESTAURANT

Millsy's Pop-up Restaurant was conceptualised by Brett Mills in 2014 as a unique initiative for himself and the team at Ken Mills Toyota to contribute to the Sunshine Coast Community. Each year, for a single evening, The dedicated staff transforms our Maroochydore Service workshop into an exquisite dining experience, accommodating up to 150 guests

Over the past eight years, Ken Mills Toyota has had the privilege of raising and contributing over $470,000 to support various local charities here on the Sunshine Coast.

When asked about the event, Brett said “All of the staff get involved by volunteering their time to either set up the restaurant or serve the guests on the night, with the overall aim to contribute in a practical and tangible way to the Sunshine Coast community,” 

While the event has previously benefitted a different cause each year, in 2024 they entered into a 3 year partnership with IFYS

“Everyone at Ken Mills Toyota wanted to create a long-term partnership with the beneficiary of our fundraising and support event, so we can work strongly together to create a larger longer-lasting impact,” Brett explained.

“IFYS was the perfect choice, as they have so many projects that make a huge positive difference in the local community, that we can fundraise and contribute to over the next three years.”

IFYS works closely with business, corporations, government and other charities to deliver accommodation, child protection, disability, family support and youth transition services throughout the Sunshine Coast and Queensland.
